PeopleSoft Customization Check

    This utility reports all the objects in the PeopleSoft project that contain your customizations. It provides a simple and quick way to identify objects with your customizations before migration of any project to non-demo environment.

    Ideally, a project should be applied to demo database as recommended by PeopleSoft. Before migration of this project to non-demo environment, this utility should be run to check if it would clobber or upset any of your customizations.

    This utility requires SqrPlus Workbench only.

    SqrPlus Workbench comes with Handy utilities for PeopleSoft Applications.

    • PeopleSoft Data Dictionary: This utility generates PeopleSoft Data Dictionary which lists Record Definitions and Xlat values in the whole PeopleSoft database. It also lists Sql View definition and flags Key fields in the Record Definition. Dumps entire PeopleSoft data dictionary into flat text file - very useful in performing general quick search of various PeopleSoft objects like tables, fields, xlat values etc.

    • PeopleSoft Record Definition: Utility to generate PeopleSoft Record Definition.

    • PeopleSoft Xlat Values: Utility to generate PeopleSoft Xlat values for given field.

    • Make Select Statement: This utility generates select statement for a given record. Developers can use this output to cut/paste select statement in their Sqr programs.

    • Record with specified fields: This utility lists all the records with their definition that have specified fields in them.

    • PeopleSoft Navigation By Process Name: This utility lists all the menu navigation for given process name. Supports wildcard.

    • PeopleSoft Navigation By Component Name: This utility lists all the menu navigation for given Component name. Supports wildcard.

    • PeopleSoft Navigation By Page Name: This utility lists all the menu navigation for given Page name. Supports wildcard.

    • PeopleSoft Navigation By Menu Item: This utility lists all the menu navigation for given menu item with wild card specification. Supports wildcard.

    • PeopleSoft Navigation By Component Name: This utility lists all the menu navigation for given Component/Panel Group name. Supports wildcard.

    • PeopleSoft Navigation By Page Name: This utility lists all the menu navigation for given Page/Panel. Supports wildcard.

    These utilities require SqrPlus Workbench.
