PsPlus comes with a unique Change Management System for PeopleSoft Systems.
This is a comprehensive Change Management System for PeopleSoft with special
focus on PeopleSoft Update and Fixes that originate from
PeopleSoft Customer Connection and are required to be
applied to various in-house (demo or non-demo) PeopleSoft Databases.
Product manages the changes that happen to PeopleSoft application
(including PeopleSoft Update and Fixes) with proper audit logs.
This eliminates any manually maintained error prone Excel spread sheet
that generally prevails in most of the PeopleSoft shops for keeping record of
Update and Fixes. In fact the system produces a 'Patch Register'
(also known as UpdateId Register).
This system (also known as Ps+:Cms: PeopleSoft Update and Fixes Management System)
takes care of ordering, pre-requisites and post-requisites that may be
applicable to a patch and tells which UpdateId should be applied next in a
given database at given time.
